ARB Level 3+ Verification for Hug mobiclean R

The Air Resources Board (ARB) has verified the Hug Filtersystems Mobiclean R diesel particulate filter for use with certain on-road diesel vehicles.

The Mobiclean R system reduces emissions of diesel particulate matter by at least 85 percent and is designated as a Level 3 Plus system. The primary components of the system include a diesel oxidation catalyst, a catalyzed diesel particulate filter, and a backpressure monitoring and notification system. Furthermore, the catalytic washcoat has specificly been developed for the very stringent Californian requirements The Mobiclean R system is compatible with on-road vehicles using diesel fuel that contains up to 20 percent biodiesel.

Specific engine families and conditions for which the Mobiclean R system has been approved may be found in the Executive Order posted on ARB website.
